Additionally, beyond the groups, students can go deeper and get totally personal interaction with Individual Sessions. We simply strive to make you more comfortable and engaged with God and His Word so you will be more comfortable engaging the people in your world for Jesus.
Whether you're looking to "get more" as a new Believer or hone your Disciple-making skills as a mature Believer or Minister, Bridge-Haven's mission is to help and support you. All of our teaching is from The Holy Bible (the single, inspired, inerrant, authoritative Word of God) and students are directed to this one Book for answers. Bridge-Haven isn't a seminary and it doesn't focus on denominational-doctrine, rather we open the Word and present the Word with examination and application so a student may better consider their belief and become more grounded in it.
Jeff Whigham has spent his life following Christ, helping and teaching others to do the same. Growing Bridge-Haven (Bible Tutoring) Ministry is Jeff's single occupation and is the continuation of a BridgeHaven, Inc. a Christian teaching ministry Jeff founded and directed on St Simons Island, Georgia from 1995 until 2009. Since 2009, Jeff has worked as a full-time Pastor/Teacher/Evangelist with Bible Believers Church (K1 Community) and is currently also ministering with Southside Baptist Church in Brunswick, Georgia.
Jeff is a passionate teacher/preacher of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, emphasizing the importance of the Bible and living a “Kingdom-First” life. He feels a strong calling to reach professing-believers with a call to Discipleship, Revival, Their Kingdom-Identity and an engagement of their “Jesus-Job” (Great Commission) with both priority and urgency. Bridge-Haven Bible Tutoring facilitates this mission.
Prior to his last 13 years of full-time preaching, Jeff worked in college and youth ministries, was on staff with an Episcopal Children's Home (1993-1995) followed by 14 years as President of BridgeHaven, Inc., an educational ministry (1995-2009). He holds a Bachelor's Degree from Georgia Southern University, has completed work towards his Masters of Divinity Degree at Luther Rice and Columbia Seminaries and has been a life-long student of the Bible and our faith. Jeff also has additional significant ministry, education, business and life experience, giving him a well developed, educated, mature and compassionate disposition as he helps others grow in their faith.
Jeff is very excited to be championing Bridge-Haven's Bible Tutoring Ministry and the powerful impact it is having on individual Believers and Ministers as they grow in faith and works and in soul's won. Bridge-Haven harvests Harvesters, that is, those Children of God who will go out and share their faith.
